Meditation Classes in Ekta Holistic Centre
The Meditation Classes we offer here at Ekta Holistic Centre are simple, and easy to follow. Our meditation classes are suitable for beginners, anyone who is interested in learning how to meditate, or any regular meditators who wish to deepen their meditation practice, regardless of background and belief.

Master Surjit will lead and guide students closely through the journey inwards. During each class, basic and clear instructions will be given to assist students to perform guided/silent meditation and to reach a comfortable level of relaxation and peace. You will also be learning about relaxation and breathing techniques during the meditation classes. Some of the meditation practice may involve simple visualization.

Types of Meditation

Below are the several types of Ekta Meditation that are taught in our meditation classes:

Ekta Color Meditation/Chakra Meditation
Ekta color meditation is also commonly known as chakra meditation. It involves meditation on different chakras,corresponding to specific points in our body. There are seven (7) chakras which are:-

1. Base Chakra (Red)
2. Sacral Chakra (Orange)
3. Solar Plexus Chakra (yellow)
4. Heart Chakra (Green)
5. Throat Chakra (Blue)
6. Third Eye Chakra (Indigo); and
7. Crown Chakra (Violet)

Each color represents a certain characteristic. E.g. Red color encourages adrenaline and blood flow. As for the blue color, it prevents infection and generates healing effects for throat and fever.
By doing this meditation, you will learn how to use colors to rearrange your aura colors as well as to help to cleanse, heal and balance at all levels. Apart from that, this meditation will develop better concentration and visualization abilities.
 

Ekta Healing Meditation
This form of meditation will assist in releasing all negative energies that exists within us and simultaneously to remove all traumas taken place in your present life. In fact, we are reprogramming our negative thoughts that may or have hindered our needs for a healthy and prosperous life.
 

Ekta Focus Meditation
This meditation is our signature meditation in Ekta Holistic Centre. Focus meditation is designed to assist people in improving their concentration. It uses the third eye – which is known for its qualities for concentration – to access our brain and helps to focus in the present moment while shutting off all internal dialogue within us.
 

Ekta Centering Meditation
Centering meditation is a practical way to utilize the potential usage of our body, thus allowing changes in our body to positively affect our minds. The purpose of practicing centering meditation is to overcome troubling and uncomfortable emotions within us.  With this meditation, we will allow our inner light to overpower stressful circumstances or negative thoughts and emotions. By being centered, we will be in a state of clarity, focus, peace and balance.
 

Ekta Meditation
This meditation makes you connect your inner self. Ekta means oneness, becoming one. This meditation will help to connect to our higher self. In return, it will help us to make wiser and better decisions in our daily lives as well as sharpening our intuitions.
 

Ekta Forgiveness Meditation
In many ways our past mistakes or experiences in life can somewhat be traumatizing at one point or another. As such it tends to influence our decisions or train of thoughts in our present lives. Ekta Forgiveness Meditation enables you to tap directly into your past experiences in life, thus allowing you to be open to the possibility of self-forgiveness. Through this meditation, it will guide you to release all the bitterness and sorrows in the past. Most importantly… it gives you the support to make room in your heart to say “I forgive you” to yourself.  As the saying goes, “To err is human, to forgive divine”.
